With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ruth Bierman of Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on May 20, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest and Lucille; her husband Ralph Bierman; her son MSgt Richard Lee Bierman; and her brothers, Jack and David Wheeler.
She is survived by: her son Dr. David Bierman, MD (Patricia); her grandsons, Michael Burr (Sara) and David Allen Bierman (Adeline); her great grandchildren, Tesla Burr, Turing Burr, Kyle Bierman and Kory Bierman; her stepgrandchildren, Brooke Kavanagh and Sean Lowery; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jenna Smith, Daniel Smith and David Lowery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Sparta Senior Center, Sparta Police Department, or Sparta MedStar Ambulance Service.
