Thelma Winkelmann Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2025, at the age of 75, Thelma Winkelmann of Sparta, Illinois, born in Lincoln, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thelma Winkelmann to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her stepmother LaVern Winkelmann; and her siblings, Vanda Welty, Barbara Winkelmann, Linda Winkelmann and Dennis Winkelmann.

She is survived by: her siblings, Debra Mell (Bob), Nancy Patton, Marty Winkelmann (Marsha) and David Winkelmann; and her siblings' children, Bridget Hurst (Bill), Andrea Welty, Nicole Krack (Lance), Brittany Schmitt (Andrew), Emma Mullen (Brian), Josh Winkelmann (Deb), Robert Winkelmann, Luke Winkelmann (Jen), Jared Patton and Seth Winkelmann. She is also survived by her many great nieces and great nephews and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Marissa Cemetery.
