It is with sadness that the passing of Cindy L. Gratz of Spring Grove, Illinois is shared. Cindy, born on October 28, 1963 in Elmhurst, Illinois, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Cindy will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Cindy by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Cindy is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Cindy’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Griffin and Shirley Griffin (McKnew). She is survived by: her husband David; her siblings, Lorrie Griffin and Michael Griffin; her nephew Joshua Sundling; and her friend Matt Bartlett.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home (8103 Wilmot Rd, Spring Grove, IL 60081). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Although flowers are welcome, Memorial contributions in Cindy's memory would be greatly appreciated by the family to Save-A-Pet or Pancreatic Cancer Research in honor of the courageous journey, she faced with such dignity and hope.
