Heynis of Spring Grove, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Heynis and May Heynis (Heitschmidt). He is survived by : his wife Jan; his daughter Janet Thompson (Jeff); his stepchildren, Kimberly Spapperi and James Spapperi (Linda); his grandchildren, Cody Spapperi, Faith Thompson and Evan Thompson; and his siblings, Linda Hermann (Robert), Mary Maucieri (Lou), Peggy Dover and Mark Heynis (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
