He was predeceased by: his father Joseph "Papa Joe" Nowak; and his niece Rebecca Gilley. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Nowak; his siblings, Joseph, Thomas and Barbara; his nieces, Christina and Michelle Nowak; his nephew Gregory Gilley (Jackie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonathan, Elijah, Katelynn, Dawson, Conner, Gracie, Donte, Aundraya and Javias; his cousins, Carla, Jessica, Carl Jr., Heidi (Brett), Casey and Kelli; his pet Able; Makaiah. He is also survived by family, Widows Sons.
