He was predeceased by: his parents, Geno Scheri and Irene Scheri (Mazzuchelli); and his brother James Scheri. He is survived by: his wife Susan Scheri (Paglia); his children, Scott Scheri (Linda) and Janis Freetly (Mark); his grandchildren, Jimmy, Jessica Scheri, Jeremiah and Joshua Freetly; his brother Gene Scheri (Carol); and his pet Sophie. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Mayo Clinic in honor of Ray.
