We bid farewell to Leane M. Verhulst of Spring Valley, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2024 at the age of 54. Leane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Verhulst and Phyllis Verhulst (Gluesing); her siblings, Mark and Barbara; her nephew Wesley; and her niece Emma Verhulst.

She is survived by : her siblings, William Verhulst (Beckie) of Lyndon, Shirley McKinzey (Steven) of Spring Valley and Michael Verhulst (Mary Jane) of Sterling; and her nieces and nephews, Katrina Fancher, Katherine Allen, Jessica Allen, Steven Verhulst, Johnathan Verhulst, Danielle DeJonge, Adrianna Verhulst, Anderson Verhulst and Jackson Verhulst.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home- Rock Falls (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.
