He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Schauer Sr. and Paulette Schauer (Helsley); his children, Colin Schauer (Ashlyn Soupa) of Neponset, Christopher Bourey of Princeton, Nicole Schauer of Princeton, Madison Schauer of Marseilles and Crystal Kuhlman of Princeton; his former wife Dawn Schauer of Spring Valley; his close friend Trinia Bourey of Princeton; and his grandchildren, Aurora LeAnn Schauer, Kendall Ann Schauer, Weston Moorman, Oakley Moorman, Melody Bourey, Raiden Bourey, Kota Kuhlmann, Arabell Kuhlmann, Aiven Bourey, Zuko Kuhlmann, Ember Bourey, Xander Kuhlmann, Ace Bourey, Lyla, Riverlynn Schauer, Maverik Schauer and Hazel Lerfald.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ptak Funeral Home (1026 4th St, Peru, IL 61354).
