With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sandra Garland (Spring Valley, Illinois), born in Bath, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Rhodes and Marion Rhodes; her husband Darwin Garland; her daughter Sherry; and her brother Jimmy.
She is survived by: her son Tim (Kathy); her grandsons, Mike and Matt (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Madison, Jericho, Sasha, Trustin and Trey; her son Jim (Sue); her grandson Grant (Sam); her daughter Holly; her grandchildren, Morgan and Stone; her son Joe; her grandson Drake; her sister Sally Helton; and her nieces, Kathy and Leslie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Parish (St. Anthony Church) (510 Richard A Mautino Dr, Spring Valley, IL 61362). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hall Township Food Pantry or IV Pads Shelter.
