It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Thomas Nevill of Springfield, Illinois, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leslie Nevill and Barbara Jean Falconer (Weller); and his sisters, Judi Dalby and Brenda Chatham. He is survived by: his wife Diane Marie Erley; his children, Christina Casson (Christopher) of Springfield and Thomas Nevill (Karla Vasquez) of Wichita, KS; his granddaughters, Gloria, Elizabeth (Ali Cetiner), Maria Casson and Abigail Nevill; his siblings, Jan Reische (Ron) of Mt. Sterling, Chuck Nevill (Mary Ann) of Cumberland Furnace, TN and Larry Nevill (Lisa) of Rochester; and his uncle Joe O'Hara of Rochester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
