It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvie Fishburn of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Fishburn and Kathryn Fishburn (Sexton); his children, Bill, Tammy, Robin and Barbie; and his family, Hilah, Robin, Rachal, Gary, Allie, Valarie and Chad. He was also cherished by His family grew to include many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
