We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Americo Gaio Jr. of Springfield, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Americo Sr. Gaio and Edith Gaio (Bloom); his son Greg Lovekamp; and his brothers, Paul and Raymond Gaio.

He is survived by : his wife Jane Gaio; his children, Janice Williams (Stephan), Kristie Little (Willie), Marty (Laura), Wes, Michael and Brad Lovekamp (Ginger); and his sister Mary Contri. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
