She was predeceased by: her parents, Noel George and Mary Irene Sexton Sr. (Cappello); her husband Stanley H. Dowis; and her brother Noel George Sexton, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Richard Groeteke of Auburn, Jamey Harris (Richard) of Las Cruces, NM, Jan Dowis of Chatham and Clay Dowis (Robin) of Springfield; and her brother James C. Sexton of Springfield. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
