She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Smith and Laura Smith (Anderson); her son Ronald Schober; and her siblings, Norman, Harry Smith and Mildred Thacker.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Schober, Jr.; and her children, Michael Schober (Linda), Janet Willis (John), Doug Schober (Shawn DeVillez) and David Schober (Kim). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home (437 S Grand Ave W, Springfield, IL 62704). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
