We announce the death of Barbara J. Mendenhall in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 79. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Ginter and Janina M. Ginter (Kolcz); her brother George Ginter; and her niece Jessica Ginter. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marie Ginter of Rochester, IL; and her nephew Douglas Ginter (Lynn) of Olympia, WA.
