Benjamin Mullett Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 23, 2026, at the age of 49, Benjamin Mullett of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Benjamin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Benjamin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his father George Mullett. He is survived by: his mother Cheryl Darling Mullett of Springfield; his stepmother Lori Payne-Mullett of Springfield; and his siblings, Shannon Sumpter of Riverton, Graham Mullett (Julie) of Mackinaw, IL, Chris Mullett of Kyle, TX and Nick Mullett of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
