It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty I. Burnett of Springfield, Illinois, born in Farmersville, Illinois, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion "Bud" and Myrtle Sharp Brown; her former life partner Bernard Brown; her husband Ivan Burnett; and her siblings, Donald E. Brown and Lois Brockmeyer.

She is survived by : her brother David Brown (Linda) of Raymond. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
