She was predeceased by: her parents, James Simmerman and Lois Irene Simmerman (Trenter); and her husband Roy C. Ross. She is survived by: her children, Debra Voigt (Kevin) of Springfield, Robert Ross (Marcia Jo) of Springfield, Ronald Ross of Springfield and James Ross (Sara) of Springfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bisch Funeral Home West (2931 S Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL 62711). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may direct memorial contributions to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight or the Animal Protective League.
