We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Billie V. Lahue of Springfield, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Lucille Vaughn and Crawford Brantley; and his grandparents, Mary Alice and Edward Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Lois J. Whitecavage of Springfield; his children, Bill (Milagros) of Virginia, Theresa Mercer (Tim) of Iowa, Mary Reed (Steve) of Springfield and Catherine May of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Nicholas Reed (Lyndi), William, Alexandra Lahue, Brian, Adam, Katie Mercer, Brent, Caleb and Amelia May; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Abraham, Andrew and Joy Reed; and his pet Skye.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1725 S Walnut St, Springfield, IL 62704). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
