He is survived by: his pet Shadow; his wife Juvy Luers of Springfield; his siblings, Jonathan Luers of Austin, TX and Elizabeth "Libby" Kuehl (Mark) of Horseshoe Bay, TX; his niece Katelyn Rooney (Matthew) of Dallas, TX; and his great-nephew Teddy Rooney.
