With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Callie Mae Williams (Springfield, Illinois), born in Aliceville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2026 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her husband Roosevelt Williams Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Abraham Williams, Bernice Richie (Steven) and Robert Williams (Barbara) of Warner-Robbins, GA; her daughter-in-law Michelle Williams of Springfield, IL.; her siblings, Pearlie Yates of Louisville, MS, Bobbie Ann Lockett of Macon, MS, May Mag Harris of Macon, MS, Jimmy Rogers Smith of Macon, MS. and Clarence Smith of Macon, MS.; her children, Roy Lee Williams, Roosevelt Williams Jr. and Dorothy Johnson; and her siblings, Kate Shield, Sid Smith, Willie Lee Smith, Douglas Smith and Willie Earl Smith. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
