We bid farewell to Carl Anderson of Springfield, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Carl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Anderson and Lorenia Anderson (Walk); his sisters, Doris Qualls, Lois Rakes and AnnaMae Prose; and his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Qualls and Bill Prose.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Anderson; his children, Jay Paul Anderson of Springfield, IL. and Stacey Davis (Glenn) of Sherman, IL.; and his grandchildren, Paige Davis of Springfield, IL., Chelsea Bressmer (Blake) of Sherman, IL. and Nathan Anderson (Cora) of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home (521 N Springfield St, Virden, IL 62690). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at the Virden Cemetery (19220 Cemetery Rd, Virden, IL 62690).
