Carol S. Pitts Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol S. Pitts of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richardson and Lola Richardson (Parrish); and her brother John Richardson, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Pitts; her children, Tom Bush (Laura) of Connecticut, Michael Bush (Jeri Lynn) of Indiana and Diane Bearrick (Brett) of Cape Coral, FL; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Claire), Matthew, Travis Bush, Clarke Sumner (Davey) and Berke Bearrick; and her sister Jane Helen Kenney. She is also survived by one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (2750 E Sangamon Ave, Springfield, IL 62702). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
