He was predeceased by : his father Jack Douglas; and his sister Jackie Davis (Douglas). He is survived by : his mother Rosemary Douglas; his wife Barbara Douglas; his daughters, Angel Alexander (Frank) and Jenny Miller (Steve); his grandchildren, Leanna, Tavaris, Tavonte, Nate, Avery, Ayden and Lamar; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Heaven, Kyrie, Jada and Nate Jr.; and his siblings, Linda McLean (Dave) and Donald "Donnie" Douglas.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home & Cremation Service (530 N 5th St, Springfield, IL 62702). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choosing in c/o Chuck Douglas.
