With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles A. Kohlbecker Jr. of Springfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Kohlbecker and Hazel Ball Kohlbecker. He is survived by: his wife Joanne DiBartolomeo; his children, Kitrina Harris (Lane) of Trenton, Florida and Joshua Kohlbecker of Seminole, Florida; his stepsons, Brett Feger (Elizabeth) of Ave Maria and Bryan Feger (Mary) of Durham; and his siblings, Rose Hileman (Mike) of Tuscola, Tim Kohlbecker (Lyn) of Tuscola, Sandy Bates (Steve) of Tuscola, Julie Little (Lance) of Tuscola, Diane Kauffman (Bruce) of Tuscola, Gerry Kohlbecker (Dena) of Venice, Carol Feld (Steve) of Prospect, Mark Kohlbecker of Charleston and Paul Kohlbecker (Katrina). He is also survived by seven granddaughters and four grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Animal Protective League.
