It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheri R. Caswell of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Wayne I. Caswell; her stepmother Sue Caswell; and her stepsister Charmin Thomas. She is survived by: her mother Betty J. Hurley Caswell; her sister Karrie Winterbauer (James); her half-siblings, Amanda Ladd (Bobby), Wayleen Caswell and Kevin Caswell (Leah); and her stepbrother Bo Thomas (Heidi). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
