She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Kane and Bonnie Kane (Fortman); her sisters-in-law, Carol Barker Kane and Dianne McCurley Kane; Gary L. McCormick.
She is survived by: her children, Melanee McCormick of Springfield and Kevin McCormick of Orlando; her stepchildren, Jonathan Sanders, Timothy Sanders, Elizabeth Sanders, Chelsea Sanders and Kayla Powell; and her brothers, Michael Kane of Springfield and Lawrence Kane of Springfield. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (722 S 12th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (2001 N 1st St, Springfield, IL 62702).
