He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lee Walton, Sr. and Samella Walton (Payne); his son Tyrone Pettit; and his brothers, Carl Scott, Garland Walton, Sr., Boboy Jo Mason, William "Eddie" Walton and George Walton.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Walton of Belleville, IL; and his siblings, Alice Faye Walton of Springfield, IL, Netella Hill (JoAnn) of Decatur, IL, Donald Mason of Springfield, IL and Eric Collins of Centralia, IL. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.
