She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Britz Jr.; her parents, Ted Melton and Donna Melton; and her brother Teddy. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy (Falon) of Riverton and Lori (James) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Jimmy IV, Bow, Dawson, Helena, Daisey May, Oakley and Remi-Kay; and her brothers, Robert of Springfield and Tom of Springfield. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
