We bid farewell to Connie L. Britz of Springfield, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 15, 2025 at the age of 63. Connie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Britz Jr.; her parents, Ted Melton and Donna Melton; and her brother Teddy. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy (Falon) of Riverton and Lori (James) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Jimmy IV, Bow, Dawson, Helena, Daisey May, Oakley and Remi-Kay; and her brothers, Robert of Springfield and Tom of Springfield. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
