She is survived by: her children, Harry Griffis, Rev. Shawn Brooks (Florine) and Mary Douglas (Jed) of Vardeman; her siblings, Sammie Gates, David Gates (Sherry) of Houston, MS, Geaga Mae Pulliam of Houston, MS, Willie Mae McKinney of Houston, MS, Rosie Lee "PeeWee" Gates of Houston, MS, Lorene Douglas (James Ray) of Houston, MS and Christine Gates of Houston, MS; her siblings-in-law, Curtis Long and Rosie Long; and her grandchildren, Tamara Frazier, Daisy Griffis of Bloomington, IL, Kimberly Jones (Vincent), Tish Douglas, Marcus Buchanan of Vardeman, MS, Cortez Jordan, Tierra Long, Shawn Brooks II of Greensboro, NC and Lydia Brooks. She is also survived by Twenty-Three Great Grandchildren; Five Great-Great Grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
