Dale Laaker Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2020, at the age of 85, Dale Laaker (Springfield, Illinois), born in Quincy, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Laaker and Erma Laaker (Vahle); his brother Russell; and his brother-in-law Merle Disselhorst. He is survived by: his wife Wynona L. "Nonie" Harris; his children, Julie Hoyland (Gary) of Springfield, IL and Dave Laaker (Lori) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Alex Hoyland of Baltimore, MD, Molly Booher (Adam) of New Berlin, IL, Kyle Laaker (Jennifer) of Redwood City, CA, Conor Hoyland (Bethany) of Glen Carbon, IL, Cory Laaker (Jenna) of Newport, KY and Collin Laaker of Middleton, WI; his great grandchildren, Tessa and Quinn; and his sister Joyce Disselhorst of Quincy, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Side Christian Church or the Telephone Pioneers.
