It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Richard Grant of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, O. E. Grant and Alta Mae Grant (Webb). He is survived by: his wife Marcy; his children, Stephanie Grant and Daniel Grant; his stepson Kurtis Taylor (Michelle); his grandchildren, Ethan Grant and Graclyn Grant; his stepgrandchildren, Korey Taylor and Jazmine Taylor; his great grandchild Lucy Taylor; and his sister Janice Worman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League of Springfield.
