He was predeceased by : his mother Phyllis Dulaney; his sister Debbie Thompson; and his niece Dawn Colvin. He is survived by : his siblings, Ed and Vicky Ritz (Carl) of Springfield; his aunt Bonnie Davison (Jim) of Donnelson; his nieces and nephews, Eric Kornack (Kendra), Tammy Ayers, Tina Pressey (Mark), Dana Thompson, Courtney Reed (Jeremy) and Christine Magnuson (AJ); and his great-niece Jessica Thompson. He is also survived by several cousins and great nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
