He was predeceased by: his parents, David L. Beeler Sr. and Gladys Sturdy; his sister Mary Alice List; and his son-in-law Roger Salters. He is survived by: his children, Cella Palmer, Zelda Schaffer (Colin), David L. Beeler III (Jonne), Bonnie Salters, Dawn Kerns (Dan), Judy Bee (Greg) and Casey Beeler (Katie); and his brother Richard Beeler (Jeanette). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bisch Funeral Home West (2931 S Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL 62711). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at the Berlin Cemetery.
