He was predeceased by: his mother MaryAnn Laub (Murphy). He is survived by: his parent Lawson Laub; his wife Jill Laub; his sons, Logan Laub of Greeley, CO and Dylan Laub (family: Kevin, Karilyn Laub) of Springfield; his siblings, Laura Trader (Chuck) of Springfield, Debbie Jones of Springfield, Steve Laub of Springfield and Amy Agirbas (Sami) of New Berlin; and his uncle Steve. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (633 S Walnut St, Rochester, IL 62563).
