He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Lucas and Ethel Lucas (Hohenstein); and his siblings, Janet Whitwood and William Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Millar; his children, Michael Lucas (Nell) of Shawnee, KS, Chris Lucas (Beth) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Sarah Lucas (Rob Sullivan) of Edmond, OK and Jessica Lucas (Bob Stelzer) of Oshkosh, WI; his grandchildren, Nora, Ella, Kyle and Sydney; and his sisters, Connie Kocher of Powell, OH and Cathy Dexter (Robin) of Bellingham, WA.
In lieu of flowers, David asked that contributions be made to the Garden Club at Country Place Condominium Association; 230 Country Place; Springfield, IL 62703.
