He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Scherpinsky and Helen Scherpinsky (Schultz); his former wife Shirley; and his grandson Justin Scherpinsky. He is survived by: his children, Edward Scherpinsky (Margaret) of Mekinock, ND, Denise Dineen of Springfiled, Sherly Scherpinsky (Martin Warden) of Springfield and David Scherpinsky (Ruby) of Pleasant Plains; his grandchildren, Jeremy Dineen, Christine Crawford, Aaron Crawford, Tyler Sullivan and Owen Scherpinsky; his great grandchild Mya Dineen; and his sister Daisy Otting of Fennville, MI..
