David L. Sullivan Obituary
We announce the death of David L. Sullivan of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 77. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sullivan of Springfield; his sons, Dan Sullivan of Springfield and Tim Sullivan (Brooke) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Harper, Mackenzie, Jackson and Maya; and his cousins, Gary Cramer and Diane Vale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bisch Funeral Home (2931 S Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL 62711). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
