She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry T. Dukes and Sharon L. Mackanin Dukes; and her brother Craig Dukes. She is survived by: her husband Dale Simpson of Springfield; her sons, Eric T. Burgess (Ashley) of Franklin and Matthew R. Burgess (Lindsay) of Divernon; her grandchildren, Ashten, Brayden and Maysey Burgess; and her aunt Arlene Mackanin (Doe) of Springfield. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
