She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walter and Lillie Walter (Rhodes); and her siblings, Lester J. Walter, William C. Walter (Shaun), Dorothy M. Perrine (Norman), Ruth M. Green (William), Barbara Belk and Evelyn Walter.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Walter (Joan) and Ellen S. Ahrens (Gary); her stepdaughters, Claudette Garber (Donald) and Gwen Gotkowski; her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Garber, Justin Gotkowski (Shannon) and Blake Gotkowski (Danielle); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jayson, Jack, Joshua, Liliana and Westin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or Telephone Pioneers in Denver, Colorado.
