Donald will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Donald by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Donald is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Donald’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Stickel and Eula Stickel (Young); and his brother James Stickel. He is survived by: his wife Joann; his daughters, Donna Hopwood (Kenneth Meents) of Springfield and Diane Silveri of Springfield; and his siblings, Jeanette Mattsson of Springfield and Terry Stickel of Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
