She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dean Foster and Regina Mary Doyle Funk; her stepmother Patricia Wilson Funk; her in-laws, Charles Dillman and Ladonna Jean Arnold; her brother-in-law John Peters; her husband David Arnold of Springfield; her children, Jennifer M. Arnold of Springfield, Samantha L. Arnold of Pawnee, Kimberly M. Arnold of Oreana and Brian J. Arnold (Jesse Merriman) of Oakland, California; her brother David Funk (Cindy) of Springfield; her siblings-in-law, Alan Arnold and Michelle Peters (late John); her nieces, Amanda Sidwell (John), Kayla Davis (Jeff), Kendra Holloway (Ryan), Krystal Zeter (Josh) and Grace Funk; and her pets, Rizzo, Ozzie, Leroy, George, Winnie, Gertrude, Clyde, Tethys, Prometheus and Bob.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curry Funeral Home (407 Carroll St, Pawnee, IL 62558). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (700 E Spruce St, Chatham, IL 62629). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Chatham Memorial Cemetery (10 Pheasant Run, Chatham, IL 62629). After retiring, she worked as a volunteer giving COVID-19 vaccines during the height of the pandemic before enjoying her retirement, spending time cruising, reading, sewing and spoiling her family's many pets.
