She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoni Sikora and Stella Szewczyk Sikora; her husband Hector J. Barron; and her siblings, Anthony, Ann, Stanley, Joseph, John, Hattie, Helen, Theresa, Genevieve, Irene and Mary Agnes.

She is survived by: her daughter Krista Bivens (Don) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Hector and Madeleine; her stepchildren, Margaret Barron (Geoff) of Belleville and Michael Barron of Collinsville; her stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Dustin (Stacie) and Melissa; and her nieces, Antoinette McFarland (Bill) and Anita Karler (Phil). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
