She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Harold and Eirlys Jones Brandt; her son Gilbert Ortiz, Jr. (Miriam); her stepchildren, Michelle Hoeffel (Karl), Steven Ortiz (Shannon) and Rebecca Melvin (Brad); her grandchildren, Nick, Zach, Thomas, Kyle, Alexis, Savannah, Skylar, Steven, Jr., Sadie Jayne, Kimberly and Audrey; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Keagon, Elizabeth and Nicole; and her siblings, Terry Brandt, Sharon Gerecke (John), Elizabeth Metevier (Walter) and Steve Brandt.
