It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorris Lincoln Meadors of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Meadors (Penton) and Dewey Meadors; and his sister Patricia Pruitt. He is survived by: his wife Jeweldine Allen; his daughters, Natalie Harlan (Emery) and Kimberly Turner (Courtney); and his grandchildren, Morgan, Clayton Harlan, Camryn, Collin and Kayden Turner. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A pleasant conversation sometimes accompanied by a joke or two made a pleasant meal even more enjoyable, Since I left Rotary a few years ago, I haven't seen Mr. Meadors but my memory of him is that of a kindly gentleman who shared his meal table and thoughts so easily.
