We announce the death of Duane Lee Moore of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 69. Duane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Etta Moore (Maynard) and John E. Jr. Moore; and his siblings, Terry Moore and Michelle Moore. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Winstead; his daughters, Carissa Moore (Rick), Sarina Horn (Jason) and Amber Martinez Llanes (Abdiel); his stepchildren, Colin Paoni and Sarah Basham (Darrell); his grandchildren, Kaelea Doggett, Dakota Doggett, Jaxson Taylor, Abigail Hands, Logan Hands, Adara Martinez Llanes and Azalyn Martinez Llanes; his brothers, Brent Moore, John Moore and Jason Moore; and his sister-in-law Teri Moore.
