She is survived by: her children, Christian Merriweather, Marquis Powell-Pettis of Springfield, IL and Porchae Powell-Pettis; her siblings, Marilyn Hill of Atlanta, GA, Mary Ann Pettis of Springfield, IL, Alberta Pettis of Springfield, IL and Larry Lee Pettis of Fairview Heights, IL; and her aunt Irma Cropp of Springfield, IL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
