He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ovca and Mary Ovca. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Schneider (Schneider); his children, Edward Jr. (Patricia), Michael, Eric and Kathy DeWerff (Kevin); his grandchildren, Michael Ovca (Sarah), Lauren Kinports (Ryan), Marie Neville (Dan), Joseph DeWerff (Ashley) and John DeWerff (Alexis); and his great grandchild Rosie Marie Neville.
Memorials can be made to the Nokomis United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
