He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schofield and Eleanor Schofield (Erickson); and his brother Peter Schofield. He is survived by: his wife Ginny Schofield of Springfield; and his children, Em Schofield of Reno, NV and Aaron Schofield (Kylie) of Springfield.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1725 S Walnut St, Springfield, IL 62704).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
