We are sad to announce that, on March 2, 2026, at the age of 74, Edward Lee Williams Jr. of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Williams, Sr. and Barbara Williams (Bumpus); his wife Carol Allers; and his daughter Christy. He is survived by: his son Brian (Erin); his grandchildren, Logan Pierce, Eleanor and Bernadette Williams; his siblings, Mike Williams (Jolene), Mary Smith (David), Rita Williams, Angie Hood-Williams and Patrick Williams; and his brother-in-law Jim Allers (Nan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
